Co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an antioxidant, which helps vitamins C and E detoxify the superoxide anion. It, like L-arginine, reduces oxidation of cholesterol in the artery walls. "CoQ10 improves shortness of breath and reduces hospitalizations. (Several medications reduce levels of CoQ10, notably statins or cholestrerol-lowering medications..."
